Vin Gupta gave back to the small town that gave birth to him in India by donating $1 million that has been utilized in the construction of Ram Rati Gupta Polytechnic as his advocacy to Women’s Education. This Polytechnic is meant for women who are interested in learning about how technology can be applied in day-day operations. The Polytechnic has mainly been offering courses related to web design, information technology, and computer applications.

 

Gupta intended to make women in India independent through technology. Gupta has also invested in the development of a girl’s school in India, where he has also provided everything that is needed for effective management of the schools. He has provided businesses and textbooks and any other materials required to facilitate world-class education for the girls in India.
